Fair Trade Foundation Community COVID-19 Response Initiatives

Fair Trade businesses are coming up with a range of ways to support local and global communities during the COVID-19 pandemic.

For instance, Ghana-based NGO, Global Mamas (pictured above), has switched its production from clothing to colourful face masks. While orders for Fair Trade clothing and household goods have plummeted, there is increasing need for face masks across Ghana, where COVID-19 cases are on the rise. Read more here
