The Fair Trade International Symposium Steering Group invites applications from academic institutions that are interested in hosting the next Fair Trade International Symposium (FTIS) in 2025. The 2.5 days conference, date and year not set but 2025 is preferred, 2026 is also possible. To be held outside the months of July and August.
Recognising that Fair Trade is a multi-cultural phenomenon with significant geographical differences, we particularly encourage applications to host the FTIS in the Global South, to foster a multiplicity of research and practice perspectives.
Potential hosts are requested to submit a short application in which their motivation to hold the event is expressed by the deadline of 30th April 2024 to ftis.steering.group@gmail.com the FTIS Steering Committee who will make a final decision by 30th June 2024.
