The Fair Trade International Symposium (FTIS) 2026

The Fair Trade International Symposium (FTIS) will be held as a hybrid event from 23 to 25 September 2026 at the University of Cologne, Germany.

The call for papers for the next Fair Trade International Symposium to be held at the end University of Cologne in September has been extended to 15th February 2026.

The call for panels opened on 21 September 2025 and closed on 15 November 2025. Panel proposals adhere to the conference themes:

Dynamics in the Global South
Dynamics in International Trade and in Fair Trade Supply Chains
Dynamics in Land and Resource Use
Dynamics in Political Discourses, Policies and Market Regulations
Dynamics among Fair Trade Institutions, Consumers & Markets
